Privacy

We collect only what's needed to connect people who need a device with a volunteer who can make it.

What volunteers see before taking a request

• The recipient's first name and age, and what kind of device is needed.
• Sizing photos and the description you provide.
• Your city, region, and country, and an approximate distance (rounded). Never your name, email, phone, or street address.

Only volunteers approved by an e-NABLE coordinator can see open requests.

After a volunteer takes your request

Your volunteer sees your name, email, phone (if you chose to share it) and street address (if you entered one), so they can contact you and get the device to you. You see the same about them.

Photos

Photos are stored privately and are only shown to you, your volunteer, approved volunteers considering an open request, and coordinators. We remove hidden location data (GPS) from photos when they're uploaded. Please avoid including faces in sizing photos.

Your choices

• You can edit your details at any time on your account page.
• You can delete your account. We remove your personal details; anonymous records of requests remain so e-NABLE can count the devices delivered.

Who runs this

e-NABLE Web Central is run by volunteers for the e-NABLE community. We never sell your information or use it for advertising. Questions: jeremy@e-nable.org.
